The unit works great sometimes but it will suddenly start scrolling to fast and reporting that the water is 5 feet deep no matter how deep the water actually is. I can switch to 455 frequency and back to 800 and it will work sometimes. Web8 jul. 2024 · I have a nearly brand new (20 hours) Lowrance Hook 7 that is intermittently losing bottom - no depth reading. The first couple of times this happened, I was able to get the unit functioning by shutting it down and restarting it. Sometimes several shutdown/restart sequences have been required.
